I am keeping all our moms in our prayers, Deja & coffeenole. I know that God knows how important these wonderful ladies have been throuought our lives. I pray for blessings, peace and comfort for them all, and all of us who care for them.

I wanted to come here and thank you all for your prayers for my Nephew, (From the original coffee shop board) I know his progress is directly tied to the prayer chain that we have gotten going. He gave us a marvelous New years gift our God did! My nephew woke up, and was responsive the 2nd or the third.
For those who didnt read my post in the Original Cofee shop thread, My nephew Christopher was in a near fatal car accidient before Christmas. He was the passenger in a 68 Camaro that T boned an old pick up that had stopped to do a u turn in the middle of the road. They were estimated to be traveling in excess of 65MP on impact, the truck driver, and my nephews best frined (Driver of the Camaro) were both killed but God chose to spare out Christopher that we may have him a while longer.
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. My Hopes and prayers go out to those of you here who are in need of prayers as well, God can and does give miracles, my family is once again proof of it!

That's great news, Adui! Without the prayers of body of believers that we have on board here, the accomplishments and blessings of the individuals likely would never occur. God truly answers

I know, and I'm sorry Silver! We didn't have anything at our house either. Mom wasn't even that interested in reading her cards this year.

I just got back from Bay St Louis Mississippi, we all know about New Orleans but not much about the rest of the area. I could not believe how much damage is still very visible after a year and a half. Not one person was complaining, everybody was very upbeat trying to put their lives back together. I was truly amazed and humbled, may god be with these people and help heal their lives!!!

I have some friends who have gone there to help with the rebuilding. They, too, were totally shocked at the remaining damages. But they said the same thing about the people...they have the sweetest dispositions and highest spirits...even lifting others while standing in the midst of their own ruins.

This is nice to know. I don't see much about this type of situation on the local news about these folks. Goes to show that most news thats shown is about tragedy and not the good side.

Please keep the residents of that area of the country in your prayers, as well as the folks in Texas who are suffering through some brutal weather. Remember also our Coffee Shop "family", that God will undertake for needs, spoken and unspoken.

I've got a really good praise report to share with everyone. My mom had surgery Thursday for her bleeding nose. The doc said she was sure that she got most all of the problem and if it would return there were further steps she would have to take. No bleeding in 48 hours and she seems to be healing very well and is in good spirits. We will go back Monday for the post op visit and I'm certain that she will be just fine. I know this healing came about not just because of the skills of the docs but from all our prayers and all my friends prayers. Thanks once again and Thanks be to God.

Please say another pray for Bill, He has been having a really bad time of it lately now his tongue has been swelling up so badly he could hardly talk, the Dr took him off all but one of his medications also stopped him eating any nuts or fish for 2 weeks,
He is really fed up he feels every step forward takes him 2 steps back.
