Father God, I thank You that I may once again humbly approach Your throne. Lord, I thank You for all of the blessings that You have given the members of The Coffee Shop since it's inception, I thank You for the victories won, and I thank You for the comfort that comes from only Your love when we've travelled through the valleys. Lord, I pray that You would bless this latest venture, that it may be used to glorify Your name and do what You would have us to do. For this I ask in Jesus' precious name, Amen.

I thought I might present this one more time. "Price less". W-boy's Confirmation was a great success and joyful celebration! D-boy served and in the beginning he and a girl were the only altar servers there, so he was going to carry the Crucifix. Some time later three other bigger boys showed up and one of them carried it. The priest then gave D-boy a book to carry in the procession. Well, he was the one that held the book during the whole celebration for the Bishop on the altar. I was afraid to take pics, because they usually don't want camera flashes going off, so I didn't take any. Then I saw someone shoot a pic and I went for it. The best was when W-boy and his sponsor (Marc his cousin) went up and Marc said "I give you W-boy". The Bishop said "you mean Raymond". (They all wear their Confirmation name on a tag on their lapel) Marc looks in front of him to W-boy and says, "no W-boy, that's W-boy". The Bishop cracked up along with all the kids that heard it and they went to their seats laughing. I couldn't imagine what had transpired. Marc was supposed to say W-boy's Confirmation name and is so used to calling him W-boy, he forgot. :-) By the way Marc did attend the 1 1/2 hour practice session. :-)

Ladyjayne, that was good. I would have loved to see it happen too, knowing how solemn everything normally is there. Congratulation on W. Raymond ....'s Confirmation!

Father God, I thank You for being the great and wonderful God that you are, Lord, I pray that You would be with Adui and his family, Silverwolf and her loved ones, LadyJayne and her sons, and with all of our "family" here in The Coffee Shop and their loved ones. I pray that You would be with us all in this special season, that Your name may be glorified! For all that You do and all You continue to do, I give You the praise, honor, and glory...in Jesus' precious name, Amen.

My mom and I need your prayers very badly. This is one of my saddest Christmases ever since my dad died over 18 years ago. Mom has been hospitalized with a series of very serious bloody noses. She has recieved four units of blood and a procrit injection and will need another next week. The eye, ear, throat specialist dosen't seem to know what to do about it. In addition to all this she is starting to develop a lot of mental confusion that she never had before. I hate to see her sliping away like this, it's bad enough what is happening physically to her. I think she is trying to hold on until Christmas. I don't feel that praying for a recovery is a good option, but that God will bring her comfort & peace in her final days with us.

I guess this is the Coffee Shop members of the infirmed mothers club. Both of your mothers will be in my prayers...and please keep mine in yours as well, as the doctors can't determine why she's deteriorating. Princess, I haven't forgotten about your hubby, either.

It seems to be so, Coffee. Prayers for our mothers and anyone not feeling well, and lots of prayers to give us the patience, strength and health we need as caregivers.
